In first-grade it is very important to include art activities that go along with our multi-curricular learning in class.
Students in first-grade love having art projects to design, construct, model and envision things from the real world and the curriculum we are studying into things they are drawing or creating in art activities.
We love having different modes of art materials to use to show our ideas of how we can create representations of our world. Things such as water coloring pictures with our paints, using markers and paper to draw our gardens or the different representations of planets, cutting and gluing animals and the habitats they live in.
