Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I came up with the idea of Mr.E's Treasure store to keep my students motivated. They get Estrada bucks for completing homework, helping a peer, doing their weekly classroom jobs, coming to school every day on time, getting 100% on their weekly spelling tests, etc. This system helped me get my students to come in on time more often and miss school less. They look forward to the treasure store opening every Friday.

I have been providing new "treasure" for my treasure store but my students are in need of new items to bring back the same excitement from the opening of Mr.E's treasure store.

My students work hard every day to receive their Estrada bucks. The Estrada bucks work the same as real money, they are learning how to use money to buy their items, as well as learning to save their money to buy a more expensive item at a different time.
