Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students are issued a Chromebook at the beginning of the school year. The students use the Chromebooks to complete any assignments within the course. I believe that the mice that I am asking for, will help the students easier complete their work. The students always say that they would like mice but the school only provides them the Chromebooks. In order for the students to receive the mice, I would have to come out of pocket. The students have to read diverse texts and complete assignments on those text. The mice would help my student navigate through Canvas easier and complete those assignments.

As an educator, the school only provides a certain amount of help, resources, and materials.

Anything else that I may need for my classroom, falls on me to pay for it. With everything that I already have to pay for, it is a bit of a financial burden if I had to purchase the mice for the students. My students are special because of they deserve an understanding. I live by a quote, "The best gift you can give someone in this world, is an understanding." And teaching is a way for me to give my students the understanding that they deserve.

But in order for my students to be successful within the classroom, they need to resources to be successful. If you can donate whatever you are able to, it will get me closer to achieving my goal of getting mice for my class. I greatly appreciate any donation you are able to offer and I know my students are going to be excited if I am able to reach my goal.
