My Project

After Covid, our school district went one-to-one for technology. While this has provided an amazing opportunity to help our students connect at a new level in their education, it has come with some logistical difficulties. My class has become virtually 100% digital and we use our Chromebooks daily. What we have noticed is that due to the high population of our students who have to walk long distances to get to and from school (some taking multiple avenues of mass transit), carrying their Chromebooks daily has become quite a burden for many.

I am creating this project in order to provide our students who walk to school the ability to keep their Chromebooks in my classroom overnight not only safe but also fully charged for them to be prepared for their upcoming school day.
