My Project

I teach a class of about 30 students that love to learn, but are full of energy. Having wobble cushions will help them be able to focus on lessons and work while moving at the same time.

Who thought that 8 and 9 year old children would be able to sit in hard chairs for eight hours a day?

It is an unreal expectation that is placed on children of this age. Providing them opportunities to move through out the school day will have a positive impact on their learning.

My goal is to have students be able to focus and work for longer periods of time while being more comfortable. While some may also choose to stand, moving while sitting is a more favorable choice that students currently don't have.

Mrs. Taylor will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 13.
