Moving While Learning

My students need an opportunity to have a positive learning environment by using the balance ball chairs to focus their energy toward learning and giving them a chance to move while doing it.

My Students

Whenever you walk in my classroom you see a room full of happy smiling faces with tons of energy about learning! First graders are learning every day to be responsible for their actions and to work each day to be more responsible learners. Providing a flexible learning environment would be a great adventure for my students.

Balance chairs will provide my students with a chance to make a choice to use their "energy" in a more positive way and promote more learning!

These chairs give them a chance to move when they need without that movement distracting those around them.

Many of my students come from families that struggle to make ends meet most days, and your help to provide them these chairs would mean more than words can express. I try every day to do all I can to make learning fun and exciting for my students. We would appreciate your help in this project!

My Project

I work hard every day to provide a learning environment for my students that is welcoming and inviting. I want my students to feel comfortable and successful while in my class.

In order to promote a "comfort" level while learning, I allow my first graders to work in a way that works for them.

I have a classroom full of pillows, stools, carpets, and different styles of chairs...but a balance ball chair will make those times when we work at our seats more productive for my students.

With the balance ball chairs, students can move while working at a desk without causing disruption or distraction to those around them.
