Help me give my students Seat sacks will help my 22 energetic second graders stay organized, reduce transition time, and keep their supplies accessible so they can focus on learning instead of searching for materials.

My Project

I teach a vibrant class of 22 second graders who are full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning! My students are at such an exciting stage, they're developing independence, building friendships, and discovering their unique learning styles.

Like most seven and eight-year-olds, my students are constantly on the move.

They're eager to participate, collaborate with peers, and engage in hands-on activities throughout the day. However, this energy can sometimes make it challenging for them to stay organized. Supplies get lost, pencils roll away, and materials scatter across desks during transitions.

Right now, my students struggle to keep track of their individual supplies—pencils, erasers, crayons, glue sticks, and other materials they need for independent work and group activities. We waste valuable learning time searching for lost supplies instead of focusing on instruction. Many of my students also benefit from having fidget tools and organizational items within arm's reach to help them stay focused and settled during lessons.

Seat sacks will transform our classroom by giving each student a personal, organized space to store their supplies right at their seat. This will reduce transitions time. Students won't need to leave their seats hunting for materials. Increase focus because supplies are accessible, helping students stay on task. Build independence because students can manage their own materials responsibly. Support all learners, including those who need fidgets or sensory tools to help them concentrate.

With seat sacks, my second graders will have the tools they need to be successful, organized, and ready to learn!
