My Project

Lap trays, rocker chairs, and flex seating chairs provide 2nd graders with a dynamic learning environment that allows them to move while working, which helps improve engagement and focus. These seating options accommodate different learning styles and preferences, promoting better concentration and active participation in lessons.

Movement has been shown to enhance cognitive function and retention, making it easier for children to absorb and process information.

Additionally, these seating options offer ergonomic support, promoting better posture and reducing discomfort during extended periods of seated work, further enhancing productivity and attentiveness in the classroom.

2nd graders love to come down to the carpet during instruction and currently they are slouching while working. My students also know they may always move from their desk if it is not providing them with the best learning environment. Instead of sitting up against a wall or laying down, they can be comfortable and put their efforts into their learning!
