I requested a lot of books for this project that I am using to support my reluctant readers. I received several graphic novels that are fiction and non-fiction to help grab my students attention in a fun and different way. I also received books that support multi-cultural awareness and inclusion which is a focus of mine. I also LOVE using read aloud picture books, even in fifth grade, and \"The Magical Yet\" has been one of my students favorites this year!\r\n\r\nIn addition to books, I requested several hands on items like the modeling clay and wood and metal puzzles that we use for Mindful Monday. On Monday mornings, my students enter the classroom and do something to promote mindfulness in some way. I believe that especially at the start of the week, having a non-technology active yet quiet activity to focus on sets students up for success! I am most appreciative of the items that have been donated to our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1727462623000,"projectUrl":"project/coes-social-emotional-crusaders/8577261/","projectTitle":"Coe's Social Emotional Crusaders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Coe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9228590"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_69806","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":508,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":24,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":73,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":16,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"19.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":26.3,"schoolId":69806,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Meadow View Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Meadow View Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/douglas-county-school-district-re-1/meadow-view-elementary-school/69806"}
