Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our preK students have worked hard all year and deserve special treats and surprises for their promotion day celebration. We already have books for them to read and enjoy but need bags to put the books in as well as some treats and surprises. These items will help us say goodbye to our students by sending them off with things they can read, use and play with before they attend kindergarten. The stress balls, bubbles and sand can help calm their nerves, relieve stress, and serve as a distraction in an overstimulating environment or calm them when they feel anxious. The alphabet stickers will help with their fine motor skills as well as letter recognition. The treats are to enjoy on promotion day.
Your donations will allow us to say goodbye to our students and reduce their stress of changing teachers.
This will also strengthen the trust that they have in the school because they will know they are always being thought of.
