My Students

In our classroom, we have reading workshop daily for 60 minutes. We also have writing workshop daily for another 60 minutes. Given the nature of this instruction, students are expected to read and write at their seat for an extended period of time.

My classroom is full of 24 sweet students (11 boys and 13 girls).

The school is a Title I school, which means a significant portion of the students receive a free or reduced priced lunch. Many students are at school by choice and have opted to attend our school.

My Project

My sweet second graders have full school day filled with learning! However, the learning expectations require a lot of time sitting in seats at desks. This is not an easy task for any second grader. That is why I am asking for three Hokki stools, so that my second graders can move while they work.

Moving minds make for better work production!

These Hokki stools will increase time on task as well as, the second graders' attention to learning and assignments. My seconds graders want to do well in school and while working. These Hokki stools can help with with this task.
