I teach second grade boys and girls! Majority of my students come from low income households. It is often the case that both parents work or the students reside in single-parent households. Many different ethnic groups are represented in my student population. In addition, many of them are school of choice. This means that they have left their home district to come to the district I teach in. The students in my classroom love learning! They especially love learning with technological devices. However, due to the cost of technological devices, this type of learning is very difficult to sustain in the classroom.
