This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When it comes to my students, they have the biggest hearts and deserve the very best! And I am committed to helping them achieve each and every day! Coming out of a long year and a half of pandemic learning, these students are getting back into the routine of being in-person. Which means they are adjusting to sitting in classroom chairs and not the comfy couch anymore! We celebrate all wins and come together as a team to support one another. Together we believe, achieve, succeed!

My Project

Do you remember the feeling of sitting in that freezing cold metal chair for extended periods of time, wishing it had at least had some cushion to it!? So many of my students are actively moving and looking for different places to sit in the classroom so they feel a better level of comfort. When students feel comfortable, their learning possibilities are endless. They have increased motivation when their bodies are calm.

With flexible seating, my students especially those with high energy, can devote more focus into their learning and limit distractions.

I selected a variety of choices to fit the diverse needs of my students. The wobble stools are incredible choices because they are adjustable, and students pick the height that works best for them. The exercise ball chairs and cushions provide great comfort for those students who like to constantly get their wiggles out. Providing my students with flexible seating will positively impact their learning with increased focus, motivation, and overall well-being. With your help, I can make this possible for all of my students!
