Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We spend our day building our academic skills and improving our sense of self. The students work individually and in small groups and learn how to collaborate which is a crucial skill for success throughout their life.
In the classroom, wobbly stools will give us the option of not sitting in traditional seating.
In the high school environment, it is still important to move during our day. Many students feel the need to move around. Focus is improved with movement which I can provide with these stools.
My goal is to build a physical classroom with options for movement. I appreciate the support of our community!
