Movement Equipment and PPE to Increase Physical Fitness!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love my students! They are friendly and have diverse talents. All of them have an eligibility for moderate-severe autism.
One student is nonverbal and has a beautiful smile.
He can not read or write due to the severity of the autism. He needs more visual aids.
One student can not express herself in English. She would need a communication board and more visual aids.
One student is bilingual. He can easily code-switch from Spanish to English.
One student is proficient in speaking English, but has trouble reading and spelling correctly. He needs visuals and repetitions of words/ repeated readings.
One student is bilingual. She knows more English, than Spanish, but she has a difficult time expressing her thoughts in comprehensible sentences.
My Project
My students' physical health and well-being has suffered during the COVID seasons. My students have been cloistered at home, gaining weight, and losing their average muscle mass. Therefore ordering these workout tools and materials will make a difference in my students' lives and physical fitness learning. Currently they are enrolled in one adaptive physical education class [ADAPT P.E.]-- but their movements are condensed to small spaces inside their homes and they must be on camera-for feedback and instruction.
When we instruct our students to 'get/toss a handball', they DO NOT have any equipment and they use folded socks and other clothing to round-up into a ball for tossing.
Therefore, they need these physical fitness tools/ equipment at home.
In order to increase movement and motivation, the fitness items, PPE, and the reflective sheets (non-glass) will allow the students to see themselves on their walls while working out. All of these items are for the health, physical fitness, and well-being of my students during and after the COVID seasons.
