My Project

My students are in an alternative classroom environment working on social emotional skills and controlling behaviors. This means we have a diverse classroom environment of students with many different special needs.

We know that children with adhd, special learning needs, and emotional behavioral issues crave movement and constant stimulation in order to stay focused and calm.

These chairs can help my student achieve this focus in classroom. This can also help them when they struggling with their emotional states. It gives the students a chance to continue moving while calming down, without disturbing others in the process.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
