Move While We Learn!

Help me give my students Balance Ball and Wobble Chairs to create an active learning environment which fosters their need to move while they learn.

My Students

I teach 19, energetic Kindergartners. My students come to school each and every day with bright smiles, eager to learn. Their enthusiasm and curiosity is truly contagious .

They are an amazing group of 5 and 6 year olds that thrive in an active environment.

My students love to sing, dance, and move as they learn. I incorporate as much movement as possible into each day to optimize their learning.

I am privileged to have the opportunity to foster and instill a love for learning in my students as they begin their school journey.

My Project

Kindergarten has become more and more academically focused. The little bodies of 5 and 6 year old students are not meant to sit still. They are meant to move! Balance Ball and Wobble Chairs will provide my students with the opportunity to move while still meeting their academic needs.

The Balance Ball and Wobble Chairs increase blood flow to the brain and help improve concentration and focus by keeping the body active and the mind engaged.

These flexible seating options have also been shown to promote proper spinal alignment and posture.

The new chairs will allow my students to learn in a way that is developmentally appropriate.
