My students are amazing. I teach a structured autism class with 6 very wonderful students. The students are in first and second grades, ages 6 and 7. I've been wanting to introduce them to more technology in the classroom. I want to give my students exposure to technology to increase their excitement for learning. Ours is a Mandarin school, but also has the autism program here. We have three classes that are autism specific, and our students could really use your help through a donation to our class.
There is an amazing app called Mouse Mischief where students collaborate and engage in meaningful learning through using and clicking their mouse, instead of the pencil to paper type of learning.

My Project
My students will be able to have many hands-on, learning experiences with technology. Using a wireless mouse will give them the opportunity to learn through doing and clicking... having fun while learning.
This opportunity will help my students be a part of the lesson, not just receptively follow the lesson.
They will be engaged, learning, and having fun. I will be able to ask questions and the students will be able to answer all at the same time. The app will show me which students answered quickly and which students might be struggling, all without having anyone else know. This type of learning will help students gain confidence in answering questions in a group setting.
