The LCD boards, in particular, have made a significant impact during our carpet learning time, where we use them daily to reinforce both new and previously taught concepts. Whether we're practicing number writing and story problems in math or reviewing phonics during English language arts, the boards offer a highly efficient and interactive platform for student engagement.\r\nIn our Mandarin language arts lessons, the LCD boards are a wonderful resource for reviewing numbers and characters learned in earlier lessons. They also serve as a strong motivator for participation—students are always excited to use them during group activities on the carpet. The tactile and immediate feedback from the boards helps students stay focused and take ownership of their learning, while eliminating the mess and waste of dried-out markers or paper worksheets.\r\nThe Play-Doh has also become an effective and fun tool in our daily instruction. Both the LCD boards and Play-Doh help shift us away from more traditional pencil-and-paper methods, offering students an engaging, hands-on learning experience that is both educational and enjoyable. The class also got to write individual cards expressing their thanks and showing what their personal favorite was. We spent time exploring the world each book was set in and were taken on a journey. We wondered and noticed different pictures and details and used context clues to help us better understand the story. I'm so grateful to have created this opportunity for the class so that we can expand our class library.
