Your thoughtful contribution of new treasure box prizes has had a truly meaningful impact on our students. These items have brought a wonderful sense of excitement, motivation, and joy to our learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen I introduced the new prizes to the class, the students were absolutely thrilled. We took time to share with each other which prize they were especially excited to earn. These small treasures have created a positive and encouraging atmosphere, motivating students to work hard, demonstrate kindness, and take pride in their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nEach week, the students eagerly look forward to Fridays, anticipating about the prizes they might earn through their efforts and good behavior. Your generosity has transformed this weekly tradition into something even more special and rewarding. Thank you once again for your kindness and support. Our scholars were so excited to start their garden projects and take care of their plants. Their 5th grade buddies helped show them around the garden and gave some information on what was needed for plants to survive. The class has taken on the responsibility of watering and checking on the plants each day. They are enjoying the process of planting and watching their plants grow. As a teacher in a dual language immersion program, I am always seeking tools that support dynamic and engaging instruction across multiple subjects. The LCD boards, in particular, have made a significant impact during our carpet learning time, where we use them daily to reinforce both new and previously taught concepts. Whether we're practicing number writing and story problems in math or reviewing phonics during English language arts, the boards offer a highly efficient and interactive platform for student engagement.\r\nIn our Mandarin language arts lessons, the LCD boards are a wonderful resource for reviewing numbers and characters learned in earlier lessons. They also serve as a strong motivator for participation—students are always excited to use them during group activities on the carpet. The tactile and immediate feedback from the boards helps students stay focused and take ownership of their learning, while eliminating the mess and waste of dried-out markers or paper worksheets.\r\nThe Play-Doh has also become an effective and fun tool in our daily instruction. We use it most often during math to model story problems and develop fine motor skills. Both the LCD boards and Play-Doh help shift us away from more traditional pencil-and-paper methods, offering students an engaging, hands-on learning experience that is both educational and enjoyable. These tools are especially engaging for learners who struggle with focus as they introduce learning in playful experiences. Thank you again for supporting our classroom with these valuable resources—they have truly enhanced the way we learn together each day.","fullyFundedDate":1746970339929,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-engagement-boosters/9271765/","projectTitle":"Classroom Engagement Boosters","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5441443"},{"teacherId":3026456,"projectId":9176356,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your love and support in our class. We loved it so much. Our class did April Madness and wrote all the books on the board. We read through each one and our favorite as a class was Extra Yarn! The class also got to write individual cards expressing their thanks and showing what their personal favorite was. We spent time exploring the world each book was set in and were taken on a journey. We wondered and noticed different pictures and details and used context clues to help us better understand the story. I'm so grateful to have created this opportunity for the class so that we can expand our class library.
