My Students

I have 22 students in my regular class and an additional 23 students in a social studies class. They absolutely love when we can incorporate technology. My students are incredibly talented at making Google Slideshows. We use it as a presentation tool to prove their learning! One of our goals as a grade level is incorporating real world skills into our everyday curriculum. We do that by presenting real world problems and ask our students to come up with solutions. In order to do this, our students need resources to fully understand what is being asked of them. This includes extensive research on the topic! Technology will give them a tool to complete the task at hand and prepare them for what awaits for them in the real world!

My Project

I was fortunate enough to receive 4 Chromebooks and am now in search of mice and headphones for students to use.

Many of my students prefer to use a mouse over the pad.

It can make editing documents much easier. They also need headphones so that they are not disrupting their neighbors. We use various videos to enhance learning and sometimes they like to watch them over and over again!

With these requested Logitech mice and Maxell headphones for each Chromebook, I will have a complete package to further learning in my classroom!
