Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am creating a student store to teach my students about money. I will be showing them how to read about adding and subtracting and being mindful of their spending. It will also encourage my student to complete their work assessments to gain "bucks" to go shopping on Fridays after they have turned in their week's work of class work.

My students will gain confidence in their abilities and use strategies to work together to get work done.

They switch jobs within the class and share responsibilities and hold themselves accountable.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
