This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to strive for goals. As humans, it is in our nature to strive to get something. As adults, we strive to buy a house, buy a vacation. For students, while learning money in math they can earn money based off behavior and work and be able to buy something of value that builds excitement and encourages participation, rather than a small treasure box toy that gets broken, lost, or they lose interest of in seconds, and they lose the motivation of why they are even doing these things. Students can strive to earn and save for Lego sets, Squishmallows, book sets, and much more.
