The materials you provided have been a game changer, helping my students engage in creative, sensory-rich crafts while developing fine motor skills.\r\n\r\nHow We're Using the Resources:\r\n\r\nWith the new supplies, we've set up fun outdoor stations where students are creating everything from colorful Easter Egg Crafts and DIY Pinwheels to Wind Chimes and Earth Day Magnets. These activities have been perfect for encouraging creativity, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork. Students have also loved the LED Puffer Balls and Mini Bubble Wands, which not only add an element of fun but also help with sensory engagement and fine motor skills.\r\n\r\nThe plush toys like the Mary Meyer Marshmallow Zoo Lambs and Melissa & Doug Burrow Bunny Rabbits have been wonderful additions, giving students comfort and joy as they work on their crafts. The treats, such as Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, have provided a nice incentive, encouraging students to stay focused and engaged during activities.\r\n\r\nStudent Reactions:\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was contagious! The outdoor space quickly became a place where students eagerly dove into projects, from building Wind Chimes to crafting personalized Mother's Day Handprint Kits. For many, it was their first time using these kinds of materials, and they were thrilled to see their hard work come to life.\r\n\r\nNext Steps:\r\n\r\nAs we approach the end of the year, we'll be using these activities to tie together lessons and celebrate the students' progress. They'll be creating graduation gifts like medals and greeting cards for their families, and preparing to showcase their projects at a \"Spring Celebration\" where they can present what they've learned. These final projects will help reinforce key lessons in science, sustainability, and creativity, all while providing a sense of accomplishment as we wrap up the year.\r\n\r\nThank You for Your Support\r\n\r\nYour donation has had an incredible impact on my students. They are now not only developing fine motor and sensory skills, but they are also learning the value of creativity, teamwork, and reflection. Because of you, our classroom has been filled with laughter, discovery, and a deep sense of pride in their work. The police officer who helped with the drill commented that this was a great idea for helping keep the kids safe. \r\nMy students also love all the prizes. With having 2 students with dietary restrictions, I was worried about my students being disappointed about getting candy and treats for holidays and as rewards. They love the prizes!
