Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Everyone likes a prize for a job well done and middle schoolers are no different. Students at our school respond really well to positive behavior interventions and you can help us fund them! Many of our students are refugees or come from foster or group homes. Their families are not in a position to fundraise or help enrich the school through PTO or volunteering. We rely on our greater community support to help our school stay engaging.

We are looking for rewards to stock our school store like headphones, fun socks, mechanical and lead pencils, fun pens, fidget keychains, and hair clips.

These are also items students at our school tend to need, so the positive impact is doubled. No one needs a fake mustache, but they are highly motivating to our students and they do help some of our trans students navigate socially.
