Morning STEM Bins and Books to Start the Day!

My Students

I teach at a public school in Tempe, Arizona. These past few years have been very hard on my students and for many of them, school is their safe place. Despite everything, they come to school each day with a smile! My students are eager and dedicated learners and they love coming to school every day!

When my students arrive at school each morning they have the opportunity to play and build with morning STEM bins.

This is something they look forward to every day and it is teaching them various skills such as teamwork, engineering, problem solving, creativity, and so much more.

My Project

When my students enter the classroom each morning they have about 30 minutes to eat breakfast or quietly work before our school day begins. This is an incredibly important transition time for my students and the way they start the day impacts the rest of their day.

My students absolutely love morning STEM bins and with this project I would like to be able to get additional materials for our morning STEM bins, along with some books to inspire them!

Through morning STEM bins my students are learning so many important skills. They are learning to be creative, to use teamwork, how to de-stress, and so much more! I am also hoping that some of the books in this project will reinforce these skills.

These morning STEM bins and books will help give my students a healthy start to the day! These books and other materials will help my students to calm down and process through their morning so the rest of their day can be great!
