My students are amazing! They love everything I plan and are excited to learn new things. This group of students are very curious, have a high vocabulary, love to read, and are an absolute joy to teach.
These students love cooperative, hands-on, engaging, open-ended projects.
I would love to give them STEM BIN choices. These bins would be great for morning work, early finishers, enrichment opportunities, team building, and so much more. Help me give them STEM bins instead of morning work!
My Project
Every morning I greet my students at the door with a handshake or a hug. They unpack and prepare for the day. Usually they have a review assignment to complete in their seat. Instead of doing this every morning, I would like to give them the ability to move around the classroom and choose a STEM bin to enjoy.
The students could start the day working together, enriching our classroom community, to complete a fun, hands on activity as we wait for the other students to get to the classroom.
This time of the day sets the tone for the whole day. The children need time to talk and engage with each other.
My students love creating, working together to build hands on projects. They will absolutely love the choice of working in a STEM bin each morning!
