My active students have a hard time sitting in a regular chair. They constantly lean back in them and I worry for their safety. They need an outlet that will let them wiggle but not be distracting. Kore™ Wobble Chairs provide continuous movement while sitting, relaxing the right side of the brain, leading to better focus. Three teachers from Priest Elementary School in Las Vegas, NV did an action research project on the impact of student learning with Wobble Chairs. They found that for students with significant difficulty maintaining attention and control of their bodies, the introduction of the Wobble Chair seemed to have a calming effect allowing them to focus. These chairs will help students that are diagnosed with all forms of ADD, ADHD, and Autism as it provides them an outlet to move around without distracting other students or co-workers. My goal is to get them focused so they can learn.
