My students need materials to create "Morning Choice" bins. They will use the tangoes, puzzles, Headbanz game, Think Fun Math Dice game as a choice when they arrive in the morning off positively!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Although my students come from various hard, low-income backgrounds, they have hearts of gold. They love school and learning. Most of the daily lives at home are very unstable and sometimes that affects they way they learn. School provides them with many things they do not get at home. I want my students to know this is their home from eight to four, so I want them to feel at home.
My students are special in the fact that many of them have to overcome things you could never imagine; yet, it doesn't hinder their love for learning.
I adore my students for many things, but most of their perseverance.
My Project
I plan to have my students come into the classroom and start their day off by making a "choice" in what they would like to do. These activities include problem solving, artistic expression, collaboration, leadership, and game time. Students will be able to start their day completing a task they choose and are interested in and not have the stress of having to complete a worksheet or something that will count for a grade. This is a great way to start off their day on a positive note creating a warm and inviting learning atmosphere. Students will build relationships with one another and work on skills that are essential for their future. A positive morning start should then create a positive learning day. I am requesting classic games, puzzles, Legos, and washable paint.
