Can you imagine using an Ipod in school? How fun would school be? Getting to listen to each other or maybe even their teacher read to them through the class Ipods. I teach in a low-income building where technology is available, but it's scarce and difficult to utilize in our school. My 3rd graders are fun, energetic, and sweet. They also LOVE technology and any chance they have to use it. My students are from varied backgrounds such as poverty, adopted, single-parent homes, middle-class, 75 % free/reduced lunch, Hispanic and African descent, Spanish-speaking homes to French speaking homes, but they all have a desire to LEARN!
