This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the best there are! We work ten times harder than any other class because sometimes learning in one way is hard. Working away from the worksheets using sports equipment, using games, using manipulatives is the best way to learn and that's my goal when working with my middle school students. They need snacks as incentives, they need headphones for multi-sensory tools, and YES tickets to earn to receive prizes. Yes, they may be different but they can still do it all and that's what my goal is in choosing the items that seem like everyday things are there for! We are not just an ordinary class....WE ARE EXTRAORDINARY!
