We are very excited about starting a coffee cart in our behavior support classrooms. Many of our students will greatly benefit from hands-on experience learning with materials and the functional skills needed to have a job and earn money. The coffee cart experience will benefit our behavior students in both academic but also social skills. Students with emotional disabilities need school experience with money, keeping a budget, but most importantly appropriate social skill strategies. The experience of creating orders, maintaining records, creating and a product and advertising is a great learning and also community building project to connect our students with the entire school!

About my class
