My Students

35 students.... 2 1/2 hours ....1 teacher! HELP PLEASE!

My students love participating in all classroom activities.

We are a half day Kindergarten program (2 1/2 hours) and there are 35 students in the am and 35 students in the pm. The Kindergrtners are eager to learn and have to meet the same standards as full day kindergarten. They are hard workers and just need more supplies.

My Project

My students need 20 double sided whiteboards for engagement. We do not have enough whiteboards for every student in our class. When we learn phonics, writing, and math students are sharing whiteboards which means they are only actively engaged 50% of the time. Having enough double sided whiteboards for each student will ensure that every student is participating 100% of the time across the curriculum. Especially with budget cuts and lack of paper to make copies these whiteboards help students in all subject areas.

We have so many factors going against us.

We don't have a Kindergarten classroom because the specialist use the Kindergarten rooms so we use a smaller classroom. We are half day and have only 2 1/2 hours to learn the same standards as the classroom next door which has full day and 6 hours. We are short on time, space, and supplies. These whiteboards is a simple way you can help each student have a better learning experience and close the gap. Please donate!
