This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We love our Jam Blocks! A recently funded project has created musical composers of colorful projects in class, but we don't have enough of them to play. My students love writing color compositions and then performing them in class for each other. They have increased their understanding of high and low sounds using the Jam Blocks. I would love to expand the project to include more elements on the Jam Blocks such as loud/soft, fast/slow, short/long, and high/low sounds.

I wish you could see the giggles and smiles on their faces as they perform on this instrument!

Please help me obtain another set of Jam Blocks for my classes. They are wonderfully musical children who are eager to learn and perform for everyone.
