Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I just started a First Grade Percussion Band at my school, with Xylophones, Glockenspiels, and drums. We need more instruments in order to provide more instruments for students. My students are very excited and delighted to play in the band. They come very early in the morning to practice their instruments with their classmates under my guidance. I am very proud of them and want to help them to use their own musical voice through instrumental music.

They are sharing instruments, but it will be a big improvement if they can all have an instrument.

When you donate to this project you will give them tools to move forward in the musical education. They enjoy performing and learn so much when they work together to make music. We appreciate any donation you can share to reach this goal in the education and performing arts. Thank you!!!
