I love when my students get to experiment with something new and see immediate results. With the supplies in this request they will get to experience creating and analyzing electronic components attached to micro:bits, small micro processors that help kids learn how to code. Using the Python programming language they will learn how to make lights change color, sense when people are approaching, and more! We will incorporate this into their final projects, which will involve them coming up with a problem in the world around them and brainstorming ideas of how they can solve them with electronic components and programming.
