Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students have already discovered the excitement of turning their ideas into real, tangible creations through 3D printing and now, they’re ready for more!

With our current printer, students have been designing and building projects that spark creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

However, we are limited by the small range of filament colors available. Adding more filament color options will allow students to take their designs to the next level, creating more detailed, realistic, and personalized projects.

Imagine a student designing a model with multiple parts, labels, or features that come to life through color, making their work not only more visually engaging, but also more meaningful. Whether it’s prototypes, artistic designs, or educational models, color adds an entirely new dimension to learning.

These additional materials will give more students the opportunity to fully express their ideas, collaborate with peers, and stay engaged throughout the design process. It also allows for quicker turnaround and more flexibility as multiple projects can be printed with the right colors on hand.

We are just getting started with 3D printing in our classroom, and the possibilities are growing every day. Your support will help us continue building momentum, expanding creativity, and empowering students to bring their imaginations to life, one layer at a time.
