My Students

I work with some amazing students. Primarily I work with 9th-grade students who are learning how to "do" high school. I also teach our reading intervention classes and work with students who need support. My students are resilient and inspiring.

My Project

These books will be a part of our daily routine in all of my classes, both the reading intervention classes (where accessible materials are desperately needed) and my 9th grade ELA classes. We believe in Book Love and encourage this generation to develop a love of reading.

I know it's just a matter of finding the right book, for the right student.

Providing for as many different interests, passions, discoveries, and loves helps us make that goal something achievable. Many of my students haven't found THAT book yet, but hopefully, they will find it soon!
