Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth grade classroom in fill with the most unique and wonderful students. My students come equipped with magnificent minds, determination to learn, and the ability to think deeper. To insure their success, my fourth grade classroom has become place of challenge, discovery, and comfort. Students spend their year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need to continue to grow and have success in advance grades to come while enjoying their seating arrangements with enough room to work.

Seating and space is needed and would be an enormous aide in their success.

Having one more rectangle table will allow my students to have comfort. I will be allowed to spread them out so they can work independently with out being crammed and distracted by other students material. One more kidney table will allow me to structure movement, aides and students will have a place of collabortation, and this will bring community style learning into the classroom in a constructive way. The standing table will allow me to deliver direct instruction right in front of the class. This is important so I am able to direct instruction while seeing and controlling classroom management with a big group of students.

Thank you for helping me provide enough seats for all my students. With my class size increasing year to year, I do not have enough options for all my students to feel comfortable in their space and learn with direct focus without being crowded. Enough seating has proven to be beneficial, and I hope for the chance to continue it for my increasing classes to come.
