My Project

Help me give my students the tools (art/craft supplies) they need to transform their classroom into a farm.

My students all need a sensory friendly and hands- on approach to learning.

We plan to create not only an interactive farm with all the farm animals, but a pond, a chicken coop, and a tractor! As part of this project and room transformation into a farm, our room will also be a museum exhibit for other students to visit.

Most of the laminating paper and velcro will allow for a hands on experience where students can put the parts of the animals together (assemble). This allows for that hands- on experience and the students will gain a much deeper understanding of the farm topic this way!

I know this science/ELA (informational text) unit will be fantastic and meaningful! With your help and support, students will gain a deeper understanding of the farm with a hands on project like this one!
