My Students

MCMHS is a Title I school that serves students in grades 9-12 living in the Montgomery County School district. Our entire student body receives free lunch based on the median income of the students' families that attend our school. Our school has recently had many successes in academics featuring the highest graduation rate of any school in our region. Our school's CCRPI score is the highest that it has ever been placing MCHS in the top 35% of highest performing high schools in the state of Georgia. Montgomery County really has some great students that work hard in their academics as well as in their extracurricular activities.

In addition to the outstanding academic achievements that our students have made in recent years, we have also been very fortunate to experience many successes in athletics.

Our wrestling team has been growing in numbers and success, as they have been sending a record number of athletes to the state tournament for the last two years. The boys' soccer team has also qualified for state the past 3 years, and the girls' team is steadily improving.

My Project

Please consider donating to our soccer team to help them get some updated training equipment. We are looking to get some new training cones as the ones that we currently use have become damaged and broken over the years. We would also like to get some new training bibs so it will be easier to separate the teams in practice when we scrimmage. We are also requesting an indoor soccer ball that we can use inside the gym for practice on rainy days. All of these items would help our players be able to train better and be more prepared for the season.
