This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I educate come from various backgrounds. This makes my classroom extremely diverse. From the students who were born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii to the students who are immigrating here from Honduras.

Having a range of desks and chairs will really help my class succeed by allowing them to collaborate with peers and choose a preferred seating in my class.

I plan to use the collaboration desks for group projects and stations. I will also set up an "creative" area where students can relax their minds and get creative.
