Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What did it take to inspire you when you were 13? Our students need all the inspiration and encouragement they can get. Our music class incorporates a musician biography for students to make a personal connection with music and present their research to the class.

Our students love music class and get excited about the research projects.

Researching and using their artistic talents helps them make connections with music history, cultures, and modern society. Most of our students are energetic and try hard despite their hardships.

My Project

I am requesting several modern hip-hop and rock biographies to aid in my students' research. These books will allow them to read and research about a musician who inspires them and present their work to the class. It is often hard to find accurate and appropriate information on the Internet, and these books will be a life saver!

Your donation will help these students complete their research projects and be enthusiastic about learning.

It will help broaden their knowledge of U.S. culture, society, and the impact of music. They will have access to reading materials that interest and inspire them. Your donation will make a big difference at our school!
