We have students who have come from all over the world, who speak over 40 different languages and come from different cultural backgrounds. With over 80% low income students, we work diligently to provide an enriching education, and provide a wide variety of experiences and opportunities for our students.
My students have an eagerness to learn music that is infectious.
They are always reaching higher and are determined to achieve success. With these new resources, I know that they can truly shine.
Our students are highly creative students who have been asking for more modern mediums to compose their own songs. We have been building our musical skills at our school for four years now, and over and over I find students writing to me about wanting to create loops, drum beats, hip hop tracks, and other song styles.
With these ten iPads, our music program would have dedicated iPads to learn how to splice songs, add loops, make musical decisions, and to share their creativity with their school community.
These valuable resources would allow our students to express themselves, and grow as musicians and composers of the 21st century.
