My Project

My students are getting ready for exams. The end of the year wraps up like a whirlwind. In particular, chemistry students are actively preparing for final exams.

Practicing for exams collaboratively is one of the most valuable tools; with the large whiteboards, students can work in groups solving the same problem individually then decide on a group answer.

By working collaboratively, students will be writing, reading, speaking and listening about the practice problems. Using multiple literacy tools helps reinforce learning and memory. Students will do better on the exam as a result.

By providing groups with the whiteboards (and magnets for visuals), students will be able to engage in active learning in practical and useful ways.
