Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are happy to come to school each day! Kindergarten is exciting! My students are amazing! They are eager to participate in engaging activities and learn new skills every day.
My students represent many different backgrounds and many are English Language Learners.
All receive free breakfast and lunch. Some of my students have obstacles in their lives to make coming to kindergarten difficult. Our Title I school offers a nurturing experience where all students can achieve success! Our school provides students with the opportunity to learn with confidence and pride!
My Project
The materials I am requesting for this project will allow my students to work collaboratively and experience STEAM activities daily. I am requesting mobile science modules to provide hands-on access to exploration learning. The six mobile modules will promote language and concept development for my English Language Learners through natural inquiry. The STEM storage racks will provide organization for continuous learning.
Natural inquiry is essential for sustaining engagement and building background knowledge!
The STEM Family Engagement Packs, Architecture Set, and Building Bricks STEM Challenge Kit will promote problem solving and language development for all of my students. These resources will provide many opportunities for meaningful developmental learning. This project will improve my students understanding of science and math by linking curiosity to knowledge!
