This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth grade students' favorite part of the day is during our Daily five center rotations when they get to read to self or someone. I have a very extensive collection of children's books and allow my students to keep as many books as they'd like in their book bins.

I'm requesting a mobile Lakeshore Learning book bin center for students to keep their book bins organized in a central area when not in use.

Students currently keep their book bins scattered on their tables or on the countertop in the back of my room, which makes our learning environment appear cluttered and overwhelming.

Having a Mobile Book Bin storage center will help with organization by allowing students to keep their book bins on one of the three sturdy shelves. There are three shelves, and each shelf holds 8 book bins for a total of 24 places for students to keep their books. All furniture from Lakeshore is well-built with a lifetime warranty. The book bin center is also on wheels, which can be easily transferred to different areas of the room.
