My Project

In my kindergarten classroom a dedicated Title I school where 100% of students are classified as economically disadvantaged, every resource makes a difference.

My students face significant hurdles, including a lack of access to basic learning materials both at home and in the classroom.

Among my students are seven Multilingual Learners (MLs) who are working tirelessly to master grade-level standards while learning English. To support them, I am seeking a new classroom rug and essential tactile resources. Currently, we lack a clean, designated space for our community gatherings; a new rug will serve as the heart of our room, providing a defined area where all students—regardless of their background—can sit together for interactive lessons, read-alouds, and collaborative play.

This rug, combined with the hands-on materials my ML students need to bridge the language gap, will provide the sensory scaffolds and sense of belonging necessary for their success. Your support will ensure my students have the equitable, resource-rich environment they deserve.
