My Project

My students are learning much more than reading and math. They are learning how to work independently, follow schedules, make choices, manage materials, and complete tasks successfully.

This year I will be teaching students with a variety of academic, behavioral, social, emotional, and communication needs in a self-contained special education classroom.

Many of my students require visual supports, structured routines, and hands-on learning opportunities to be successful.

These materials will allow me to create individualized work systems, visual schedules, task boxes, and independent learning stations. Students will practice completing tasks independently, organizing materials, following directions, and building confidence in their abilities.

By providing color-coded organization systems, visual supports, and reusable instructional materials, these resources will help students become more independent learners while reducing frustration and increasing success.

Every small step toward independence helps prepare my students for future success both inside and outside the classroom.
