My Students

I will be starting my first year teaching this fall and want my students to have the best experience possible! Being a first year teacher, gathering enough supplies for your classroom is difficult. Our school is a part of Kalamazoo Public Schools, there is a mix of middle class families and families of poverty. All students no matter where they come from deserve to have a great education, with top of the line materials and experiences. This class is full of hardworking, enthusiastic, mixed ability students.

My Project

I plan on using these materials daily to keep my students interested and supply them with quality materials that they will not have to supply themselves. I teach Science and Social Studies and students will be conducting their own research and creating their own experiments. Being a first year teacher it is expensive to start your own classroom. These supplies are basic supplies that are required to foster learning and allow students to complete their work.

My students are hardworking, energetic, and a curious group of 4th graders.
