My Students

My classroom is full of 29 creative, caring, hardworking fifth graders. They are eager to learn, despite the curveballs this school year has thrown at them. My students would benefit from flexible seating options in the classroom. I also would like to include other supplies that students will use for both indoor and outdoor recess.

My Project

Students need additional supports to help them feel comfortable in the classroom. My flexible seating options will help students transition back to school and have more options to release energy in an appropriate way. It can be difficult for students to sit in their desks all day, especially after over two years of remote learning. I also wanted to include additional indoor/outdoor recess activities and games in my Donors Choose. These games are a great positive reward for my class. Students need to be encouraged to have proper and appropriate behavior and outdoor games are a great reward!
